Edranol
Appearance: It is a long, pear-shaped avocado with a medium size pip. The skin is glossy, thick and olive green. Harvested: June to September Origin: Edranol is harvested in June, July and August in the warmer areas and from August to September in the cooler areas. On ripening, the skin remains green with the fruit yielding to gentle pressure.
Taste and texture: The flesh is creamy. Eating is excellent with a rich nutty flavour. |
