Baked Apples - Serves 2
Ingredients:
2 medium sized apples 8 raisins 4 almonds cinnamon 125ml (1/2 cup) hot water Method:
# Preheat oven to 200°C. # Wash the apples and remove their cores without cutting through to bottoms. # Slit skin horizontally around the middle of each apple to prevent them bursting. # Place in a shallow baking dish. # Stuff each apple with 4 raisins and 2 almonds and sprinkle cavities with water. # Pour 200ml water into the baking dish and bake for 30 minutes, or until apples are soft.
